AI in Your Trading Platform — TraderzLife Education Series Book 18
LEVEL 6 · ADVANCED · BOOK 18
Six levels of machine integration, from a smarter chart to a system that trades without you. This is the book about what is actually being sold to you, who gets paid when you buy it, and what happens to your money when one of them is wrong.
It does not tell you what to buy, and it does not tell you how to build anything. It tells you how to read a claim — which is a skill that keeps working after every product in it has been renamed.
The one claim it makes: the six levels differ in exactly one respect that matters — how much of your judgement you have handed to something you cannot inspect. Value falls and risk rises as you climb, and the level everyone starts at is the top.
- Between November 2025 and September 2026 the platforms themselves shipped AI. Nine of the thirteen features surveyed sit on the bottom two rungs of the ladder — they summarise, explain and interpret, and then ask you to confirm.
- Four platforms now let an outside AI agent reach a live trading account. In every one of them the platform supplied the interface, not the intelligence. Two put a wall around it. Two did not.
- The largest marketplace for trading robots states, in its own published rules, that it does not guarantee any of them work, forbids sellers from presenting backtests as real results, and will not refund you.
- Seven independent trials on a strategy with no edge whatsoever produce, on average, a two-year backtest with a Sharpe ratio of about 1.0. Very few sellers ever publish a trial count.
- A controlled experiment found that simply making other people's choices visible raised selection of the riskiest asset from 32.5% to 47.9% — and adding a copy button raised it to 51.6%. Of those who copied, 88% copied somebody who had taken the largest risk available.
- A 99% win rate can be manufactured. On our own data, a random daily entry on EUR/USD with a 20-pip target and no stop won 98.9% of the time — and the few trades that never recovered lost more than all the wins made.
- Requiring you to click does not put a service outside regulation, whatever it implies. What matters is whether the advice is tailored to you, and whether the seller sits somewhere a regulator struggles to reach.
- Compensation schemes cover a firm failing. They do not cover a trading loss.
- And the EU AI Act has no high-risk category for trading signals or automated trading at all.
Every figure is checked against the primary source and dated. Where a number is constructed rather than cited, the page says so. Where the evidence simply does not exist — and in three places it does not — the book says that instead of filling the gap with something adjacent.
Tested, not just taught. Three of the book's claims — how far price moves while a signal is delayed, what a copy-trading leaderboard rewards, and what lies behind a very high win rate — were checked against recorded prices from Bacchus Analytics' own systems. The method and its limits are printed in full.
188 pages. Sixteen chapters in four parts, the data section, three appendices, nine original figures, and a buyer's protocol of eleven questions to run before you pay for anything.
An honest note. No company is named here as an example of misconduct. Where a firm is named it is because it published something, and that published thing is quoted exactly. The strongest evidence in this book against the most confident products in this market was written by those products' own vendors, in their own disclaimers — and the book closes by inviting readers to report anything wrong, out of date or superseded, with corrections made in later printings.
